“Conversations with Global Business Leaders” is a series of dialogues organized by the Asian Cultural Center and PLC Ltd. Inc. to help young professionals in various industries as well as college and graduate students. We invite visionary business leaders to share their career experiences with attendees through dialogues with Andy Serwer, editor-in-chief of Yahoo Finance. We hope that this series can provide not only a networking platform for young people but also an opportunity to brainstorm on their future careers and lives.

Page Society’s Hall of Fame (2014). He is regarded as an industry thought leader and has posted weekly to his blog since 2004. Richard is consistently mentioned as one of the top 25 foremost experts on corporate trust. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Ad Council, the Atlantic Council, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, the Children’s Aid Society, the Gettysburg Foundation, the 9/11 Museum, the National Committee on US-China Relations and the University of Chicago Medical Center.
John J. Mack
Former Chairman/CEO of Morgan Stanley
John Mack is a Senior Advisor and the former CEO and Chairman of the Board at Morgan Stanley. Mr. Mack entered Morgan Stanley in 1972 as a salesman and was named a president of Morgan Stanley in 1993, Chairman and CEO in 2005. He retired at the end of 2011 as Chairman of the board. He was noted for stabilizing the firm and reenergizing its culture and client franchise, despite an economic downturn. In 2012, He joined Kohlberg Kravis Roberts as a Senior Advisor. He also serves on the boards of NY-Presbyterian Hospital, Duke University, University Hospital of Columbia University, University Hospital of Cornell University, IMG, Bloomberg Family Foundation, etc.
Glenn Hutchins

Glenn Hutchins is a private equity investor focused on the technology sector and co-founder of Silver Lake Partners, a $26 billion private equity firm. He was a Senior Adviser in the Bill Clinton presidential transition team. After returning to private equity, Hutchins serves as chairman of Silver Lake portfolio companies SunGard and as a member of the board of NASDAQ OMX Group. Additionally, he has served on the board of such Silver Lake portfolio companies as TD Ameritrade, Seagate Technology, MCI, Inc., Gartner and Sabre Holdings, AT&T and many others, such as The Federal Reserve Bank of New York, Vice Chairman of the Brookings Institution, etc.
Gordon M. Bethune
Former CEO of Continental Airline
Gordon M. Bethune was the CEO of Continental Airlines from 1994 until his retirement at the end of 2004. Under his leadership, Continental went from being ranked last in every measurable performance category to winning more J.D. Power and Associates awards for Customer Satisfaction than any other airline in the world. Continental’s stock price rose from $2 to over $50 per share. BusinessWeek magazine named Bethune one of the top 25 Global Managers in 1996 and 1997. Fortune magazine ranked Continental 2004’s No. 1 Most Admired Global Airline, a title it earned again in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. He currently serves on the boards of Honeywell, Sprint, and Prudential Financial.

Recognizing the opportunity in the global art market, Mrs. Doyle negotiated international strategic alliances in London and Paris. Mrs. Doyle spearheaded the development of online client services with a state of the art Internet site, adding Internet bidding capabilities first with Amazon.com, and eBay, and currently with Artfact and on Doyle NewYork.com. Mrs. Doyle initiated an extensive education program at Doyle for collectors including lectures and seminars featuring specialists in art, design, fashion, jewelry, etc.

Stacey Hadash is managing director and the Metro New York Market Executive for Global Commercial Banking at Bank of America Merrill Lynch. She oversees banking teams that cover New York City and Long Island, providing a full range of solutions to companies with revenues of $50 million to $2 billion. The business includes equity capital markets, investment grade capital markets, leveraged finance, corporate finance, and derivatives & foreign exchange origination. She was managing director and Head of Financial Planning at The New York Stock Exchange. She also worked at the mergers & acquisitions group at Goldman Sachs in both New York and London. She started in investment banking as an analyst at Morgan Stanley.

Henry T.A. Moniz is a Senior Vice President, Chief Compliance Officer and Chief Audit Executive of Viacom Inc. He leads a handful of global teams engaged in assurance and consulting activities and has performed work for Viacom in over 25 countries while serving in other significant roles, including Deputy/Interim Head of Internal Audit; SVP for Global Compliance; Chairman, Viacom Compliance/Ethics Committee, and so on. Henry currently serves on the Bowdoin College Board of Trustees, on the Advisory Board of Harvard Law School’s Center on the Legal Profession and the Board of Directors of The First Tee of Connecticut. He has also served on the Board of Managers of the University of Pennsylvania Law School, among other boards.
Mike Bonney

Bonney was CEO and Director of Cubist Pharmaceuticals from 2003 until 2014. Under his leadership, Cubist grew from a struggling micro-cap to the world’s leading antibiotic company and was acquired by Merck early in 2015 for $9.5 billion. Bonney also chairs the boards of Alnylam Pharmaceuticals, Magenta Therapeutics and Bates College. He is a member of many other boards, including Celgene Corporation, Whitehead Institute for Biomedical Research and Sarepta Therapeutics. Bonney was a regional winner and national finalist (2013) in the life science segment of Ernst & Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year and was one of six executives nationwide named as Marketwatch’s CEO of the Year (2011).

Eric Haley joined OMERS Private Equity in its New York office in September 2011. Eric has over 20 years of experience in investment banking, over 15 years experience of private equity investment banking. After graduated from college, he began his career in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley. He was previously a Managing Director at Tailwind Capital, where he worked on several investments in the business services and media/communications sectors and also worked for Boston Ventures. Eric Haley graduated from Bowdoin College and received an MBA degree from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
